Specialty Rolls

Xtek’s exclusive pass design in our Temperature Controlled Rolls (TCR) allows for more uniform temperature across the entire face length of the roll during service, enabling our customers to more accurately predict and control their rolling processes.

The Xtek TCR is a multi-component assembly, primarily consisting of an alloy steel core or mandrel and a shrunk-on shell. The core can be manufactured with stainless steel weld as hard-facing and the shell chrome-plated, both to minimize the corrosive wear inherent in the temperature controlled application.

As with nearly all of Xtek’s forged steel rolls, specialty rolls, and other specialty products, reconditioning and repair services are available.
