Xtek is a worldwide supplier of custom manufactured industrial components for the steel, aluminium and mineral processing industries. Xtek has historically supported our European customers through our regional sales representatives; however, in 2007, as part of our commitment to service this market, Xtek located a manufacturing and reconditioning facility in Plzen, Czech Republic.
The Plzen operation is equipped with the necessary machine tools and heat treating equipment to produce the Xtek wheel products that have been utilized by customers throughout Europe for many years, along with reconditioning of geared spindle couplings and universal joints.
Xtek services all manufacturer units, not just Xtek, providing in-service monitoring and tracking programs that extend campaign length, reduce down-time and lower operating costs. Xtek proprietary heat treating processes are acknowledged by customers around the world for providing the premier products for rolling mills, overhead crane and many heavy duty industrial applications. Xtek facilities are ISO 9001 registered for the “Design, Manufacture and Reconditioning” of the products and services provided by that facility.
