Xtek is currently hiring for the following positions at our Cincinnati headquarters:
We have immediate openings for Machinists on our night shift (6:00pm to 2:00am).
No experience is required. We will train!
These are hourly positions reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to meet goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing accurate work in a safe and efficient manner.
Initial duties will include the following:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders, based on production requirements.
- Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation to determine appropriate machine settings and techniques.
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools, ensuring parts meet established tolerances and specifications.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working order.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust machines as necessary to improve performance and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Best qualified candidates will have:
- Strong mechanical skills, including an understanding of machine functions, parts, and basic maintenance, with a natural inclination toward hands-on work.
- Ability to learn and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.
- A meticulous approach to work, with a focus on producing accurate, high-quality results within specified tolerances.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing basic machine or tooling issues as they arise.
- Willingness to learn and develop machining skills through on-the-job training and guidance from experienced machinists.
- Strong commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality, understanding that reliability is key in a manufacturing environment.

We have immediate openings for Maintenance Technicians on both day and night shift.
These are hourly positions reporting to the Operations Support Manager.
Positions are focused on maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities and assisting other technicians with equipment repair.
Initial duties will include the following:
- Equipment inspection and preventative maintenance from maintenance documentation. Perform general repairs and assist with more complex repairs as necessary.

necessary. - Perform routine maintenance tasks as part of the preventative maintenance
program - Perform general equipment repairs and assist technicians on larger repairs
- General assistance with the maintenance operation as necessary through equipment and facilities projects
- Perform troubleshooting on equipment with assistance from other technicians as necessary
Best qualified candidates will have:
- A good mechanical and electrical understanding with the ability and desire to learn and grow in the maintenance field
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and machine controls (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.)
- Basic machining skills
- The familiarity and ability to work safety around industrial equipment
- A proven track record of good attendance and quality work
- The ability to follow written and verbal procedures effectively
- A general understanding of Microsoft D365
