Xtek was proud to participate in AISTech 2019, the steel industry’s premier technology event, held May 6 – 9, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This annual event features technologies from all over the world that help steel producers to compete more effectively in today’s global market.
Participation in AISTech is important for anyone involved at any level of today’s steel marketplace, providing perspective on the technology and engineering expertise necessary to power a sustainable steel industry. Steel industry buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers take advantage of AIST to network with industry peers and discover ways to improve productivity.
Over 8,000 people attended AISTech 2019 and engaged with the exhibits of over 500 companies. Show participants were able to meet face-to-face with key individuals involved in the production and processing of iron and steel. Participants were also provided with an overview of cutting-edge steel-related technologies with more than 550 technical presentations. Plant tours of AK Butler and US Steel Mon Valley were offered over the course of the event as well.
