November 30, 2017– Xtek, Inc. announced the acquisition of Precision Machine Inc. and Precision Maintenance, Inc., both located in Paducah, Kentucky.
Precision Machine, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company since 2012 and originally founded by Buel Alexander & Randy Warmath over 30 years ago, is a leader in machining, fabrication, repair, field maintenance and alignment services for the steel, paper, and chemical industries. PMI employs over 80 people, mainly consisting of highly skilled mechanics, welders and machinists. Precision Maintenance, Inc., privately owned by Alexander and Warmath, was also purchased by Xtek, Inc. as part of the acquisition.
Xtek, Inc., founded in 1909, is also a 100% employee-owned company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, specializing in the design, heat treatment, fabrication, and repair of custom mechanical components for heavy industry.
